YAKAR has successfully completed several construction contracts in Southern California. We offer general construction and design-build
construction services. Our workload includes a variety of construction projects in Public works, commercial and industrial sectors,
and includes clients ranging from Municipalities, Caltrans and Commercial developers to Schools and the US Army Corp of Engineers.

Below are a few of our completed projects.
Highway 405
Two
projects on Highway 405 one in Orange County near city of Costa Mesa, on route 73/405 separation and route 405 at Various Locations
from Bear Street overcrossing to Fairview Road overcrossing. Work consisted of clearing and grubbing, demo and removals, roadway excavation,
concrete and hot asphalt paving, irrigation system installation, electrical services, underground utilities, planting and cable railing.
The
second project in Orange County in Irvine from San Diego Creek to Von Karman Avenue overcrossing; work consisted of demolition, erosion
control, monument walls, asphalt paving, stamp concrete, electrical system, lighting, concrete piles installation, irrigation, planting,
Hydroseeding and mulch.
El Toro Rd
Street and Roadway Improvements in Orange County on El Toro Road between Aliso Creek Road to The Club Drive.
Work consisted of street widening adding travel lane bike lane and sidewalk by excavating slope and constructing over ten feet high
retaining wall, the project also required underground utilities including street drainage system and electrical for street lighting.
Other work was done is curbs and gutters, irrigation system, landscape, cold milling of existing street and hot asphalt overlay and
striping.
Lake Avenue
This project consists of five street median islands rehabilitation on Lake Avenue between Colorado Boulevard
to California Boulevard in the City of Pasadena. The project included removal of all existing plants, concrete, soil, electrical and
irrigation. Providing electrical service, meters, panel pedestal and electrical to power the new tree up-lights and monument signs
finishing with irrigation system, plants and decomposed granite.
Madison St
Major street improvement project on Bradford Avenue and Madison Avenue. The primary earthwork activities involve
excavation for pavement, driveways and retaining walls. Also includes clear and grubbing, unclassified excavation and removal of existing
asphalt and concrete pavement. This street winding involve coordination with home owners, church, school and police department and
major utility companies including Edison, cable company, gas company, telephone company and water department since existing utilities
had to be removed and new ones was installed. Traffic signals were installed to accommodate the new wide intersection and increased
traffic, retaining walls with wrought iron fence and motorized gates, concrete steps, curb and gutter sidewalk, asphalt paving including
hot rubber asphalt and striping.
Highway 101
Two projects on 101 Highway one in Los Angeles County in Hollywood, from Sunset Boulevard overcrossing to Pilgrimage
overcrossing and the other one in Los Angeles at Route 101/110 Seperation.Work consisted of traffic control to minimize public inconvenience
on the busiest freeways in the nation, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, demo and removals, slope grading and paving, irrigation
installation, underground utilities, electrical service, stamp concrete and planting.
Highway 215
Highway Construction in Riverside County, Riverside, from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Down Street Overhead.
Large portion of this project was near University of Riverside improving freeway off ramps and on ramps. Work consisted of, clearing
and grubbing, demo and removals, slope grading and paving, irrigation system including water booster pumps, electrical services, underground
utilities, boring operations, rock blanket, decorative gravel, asphalt paving and planting including palm trees shrubs and ground
cover.
Highway 170
Highway Construction in Los Angeles County, in Los Angeles, from Vanowen Street Undercrossing to Rout 170/5
separation. Work consisted of, clearing and grubbing, demo and removals, slope grading, irrigation installation, close to 50,000 square
feet of stamp concrete, underground utilities, electrical system, close to 20,000 yards of mulch and close to one half of one Million
plants.
Highway 5
Three projects on Highway 5 one in Orange county over twenty four miles long from Camino De Estrella overcrossing
to Fourth Street overcrossing and the second one is in Los Angeles County in Los Angeles and city of Commerce from Rout 5/710 separation
to Route 5/10 separation. Work consisted of, clearing and grubbing, demolition, traffic control, erosion control netting, over 1,600
tree pruning and tree removal, slope grading and paving, rock blanket, electrical system, 10 inch boring, asphalt paving, irrigation
installation including powered and solar controllers, over one mile of 6 inch C900 Gasketed Pipe and close to 250,000 plants. Third
project for the construction on state highway in Los Angeles County in Los Angeles and Glendale on Route 5 from Colorado extension
to Hazel Street Pedestrian undercrossing to Los Angeles River Bridge and overhead. Work included over 1,000 feet of 8 inch steel pipe
boring, Electrical service, over 100,000 square feet stamp concrete, irrigation system and planting.
Highway 710
Highway Construction in Los Angeles County, in South Gate, Cudahy, from the Los Angeles River Bridge to South
of Slauson Avenue Overcrossing. Work consisted of, clearing and grubbing, demo and removals, along freeway, off ramps, on ramps
and planting. Despite the fact that there was no electrical or water source on this project we were required to provide water for
the new landscape for over three years so we built a temporary system using no electricity to power the irrigation controllers and
ran miles of water piping to the project area at our own expense.
